Lawn pest and grub control

A vibrant, thick and dark green lawn is stronger and less susceptible to weeds, diseases and lawn-damaging pests. But even the healthy and well-maintained turfgrasses can be infested and if left unchecked, destroyed by these grass eating insects.

Chinch bugs, white grubs, fall armyworms, sod webworms, bermuda mites, mole crickets, red imported fire ants, cutworms are the major turfgrass insect pests in Texas. The damage caused by insect pests is usually mistaken for a disease, drought or infertility.

The key to prevent lawn-pest infestations is preventive care.

We offer 2 preventive insecticide applications

  • First application in May-June

Provides season-long control from grubs to billbugs. Spring is the time when many beetles start laying their eggs, also other grass-eating insects like armyworms and chinch bugs.

  • Second application in late summer.

This is the best time to target white grubs, billbugs and other insects before they start feeding on your grass

We also offer curative care

Effective treatment plan for existing pest infestations.

The key to prevent long-term lawn is early detection, identification and assessment. The signs include brown and dry patches, bouncy and soft turf, moths and beetles flying above the turf to lay their eggs, armadillos, racoons and skunks in search for white grubs. More than five grubs per square foot can indicate an infestation.

A curative insecticide application will efectively eliminate the pest and prevent further grass root damage.

  • Sod webworms

Very distructive insect pests. The presence of low-flying moths is a symptom of infestation.
