Large patch
affects most warm-season grasses in Texas. Once established, it is very difficult to eliminate. Preventive treatments are the most effective. Symptoms include large brown patches from 6 inches to several feet wide, often mistaken for drought stress.

Dollar spot
small and 1-2 inches round brown patches, which can merge into a wider patch if left untreated.
